This Acceptable Use Policy outlines prohibited activities when using GMC Scout. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Prohibited Activities
Unauthorized Access
- Scanning stores you do not own without explicit permission
- Accessing other users' accounts or data
- Attempting to bypass security measures
- Sharing account credentials
Abuse of Service
- Automated or bot-driven scanning
- Excessive scanning that impacts service performance
- Attempting to bypass rate limits
- Using the service to attack or harm other systems
Illegal Activities
- Using the service for any illegal purpose
- Violating intellectual property rights
- Fraud or deceptive practices
- Money laundering or financial crimes
Reverse Engineering
- Attempting to reverse engineer our technology
- Copying or replicating our service
- Extracting our algorithms or detection methods
- Creating competing services based on our technology
Reselling
- Reselling reports without authorization
- Providing access to the service to third parties
- Using the service as part of a competing offering
Enforcement
Violations may result in:
- Warning: First-time minor violations
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated or moderate violations
- Account Termination: Serious or repeated violations
- Legal Action: Illegal activities or significant harm
- No Refund: Termination for violations forfeits all credits and payments
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of violations of this policy, please report them to:

Appeals
If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal by:
- Emailing legal@gmcscout.com
- Explaining the circumstances
- Providing any relevant evidence
We will review appeals within 5 business days.
