Refund Policy

Credit Top-Up Purchases

All Sales Final: Credit top-up purchases are non-refundable.

  • No Refunds: Credit top-up purchases are final and cannot be refunded
  • Non-Transferable: Purchased credits cannot be transferred to another account
  • Account Specific: Credits are tied to your account and cannot be shared
  • Require Active Pro Plan: Top-up credits can only be used with an active GMC Scout Pro subscription
  • No Expiry: Purchased credits do not expire while you hold an active Pro subscription

GMC Scout Pro Subscription (€29/month)

Cancel Anytime: You may cancel your GMC Scout Pro subscription at any time from your Stripe billing portal.

  • No Prorated Refunds: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No partial refunds for unused time.
  • Access Until End of Period: You retain Pro access and all benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Monthly Credits: The 4 monthly report credits included with your Pro plan are reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry over if unused.
  • Top-Up Credits on Cancellation: Any unused top-up credits are locked when your subscription ends and cannot be used until you reactivate.
  • Re-subscribe Anytime: You can re-subscribe at any time after cancellation.

Exceptions

The only circumstances where refunds may be considered:

  • Technical Failure: If our service fails to deliver a report due to technical issues on our end, we may issue a refund at our discretion
  • Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error, we will correct the charge
  • Fraudulent Charges: If your account was compromised and unauthorized purchases were made, contact us immediately

All exception requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and are subject to verification.

Dispute Process

If you believe you qualify for an exception under the circumstances listed above:

  1. Email legal@gmcscout.com within 7 days of purchase
  2. Include your order ID or transaction reference
  3. Provide detailed explanation and supporting evidence
  4. We will review and respond within 5 business days

Note: Requests for refunds outside of the listed exceptions will be denied.

Processing Time

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds appear on your statement within 5-10 business days after processing
  • Total time: Up to 20 business days from approval

No Refunds For

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Unused purchased reports or remaining subscription time
  • Dissatisfaction with scan results
  • Dissatisfaction with Google's approval decision (we don't control Google)
  • Violations of our Terms of Service
  • Account suspension or termination due to policy violations
